Our Office Staff

Area Practice Manager - Stacey Angers
Practice Manager - Christopher Munroe

Medical Office Specialists (MOS): Our MOS staff is here to greet you when you come in for an appointment, to accept your insurance information, and to update your account to ensure appropriate billing. They can answer many of your questions about the practice and particularly about your provider’s schedule. At check-out, an MOS will assist you with referral appointments to specialty practices, will receive your co-payment, and will schedule future appointments with your physician or mid-level provider. When you call into the practice, you will speak to an MOS who can route your call appropriately, answer questions, or schedule your next routine appointment.

Medical Records Department: Our Medical Records Technicians are responsible for filing and maintaining your medical record according to our standard procedures. If you need a copy of all or part of your medical record for yourself or for another provider, a Medical Records Technician will facilitate that request by first asking that you complete the Medical Records release form. We are required to charge a fee for any copies over 10 pages and will make sure that you are fully aware of that prior to picking up your copies.

Medical Assistants (MA): Your physician and mid-level provider work closely with a Medical Assistant. The MA plays a key role in communicating test and lab information to your provider. The MA is the first person you see when you come into our office – you will be brought to an exam room by your MA, and your vital signs will be taken by the MA. Additionally, your provider may also ask your MA to perform other critical in-office tests on you so that an accurate diagnosis can be made. Finally, if you need to speak to your physician or mid-level provider, the MA is responsible for facilitating that communication since the providers are often with other patients when you call.

Triage Nurses: Our triage nurse is an experienced LPN who is here to receive your urgent phone calls and to help you decide if you need to be seen by your physician or mid-level provider today or as soon as possible. She helps many patients every day by reviewing symptoms on the phone and determining, in consultation with your physician, what your specific need is. Lastly, our nurse runs our Coumadin Program, a very important program for many patients who desire to have their PTINRs taken conveniently in the same office as their primary care physician

Management Team: We have one full time manager at Beacon who can address any issues that you may have. Our goal is for you to receive the best possible care and if that is not happening, or you are in any way, not pleased with the services you are receiving at Beacon, please contact the practice manager as soon as possible. The Management team oversees the administrative staff and works hand-in-hand with the providers at Beacon Internal Medicine to ensure the highest level of health care delivery possible.
